Dear visitors,

We have bittersweet news: The opening film Hema Hema: Sing Me a Song While I Wait has Sold Out. These are exclusive screenings; do not miss the opportunity to come to EYE, a beautiful place to connect with other people, to exchange dialogue and ideas. So come as often as possible.

Although Opening Night is sold out, we still have complimentary tickets for you to receive by becoming a member! There is a limited number, and programs for Tich Nath Than (Sunday 15:00 – 17:25), and Mindfulness (Sunday 12:15 – 14:30) are not available for this. Please head to our members page make a contribution at http://www.bffe.eu/archive-2016/engage/become-friend/ and consider our other wonderful cinematic choices.

BFFE is showing films about Tibet, ones which raise political awareness: PAWO and A Mother’s Son, for example, are two different takes on the tragedy of self-immolation as an act of protest. These incidents have recently increased in number since 2009.

There are also films about beauty and art. In Sculpting the Lotus Guru, The Great Transmission, and The Song Collector, for example, we learn about preserving a culture in demise, not only the importance of it, but the process.

TICKETS are available online at EYE: https://www.eyefilm.nl/festivals/buddhist-film-festival-europe-2016#full-range

We are looking forward to the weekend, and hope to see you there.

Our warm regards,

BFFE
