Dear visitors,
BFFE begins tomorrow, but we have yet-more excitement to spice up your weekend: An event that we believe might be of interest to the Buddhist community.
On Saturday, on the other side of the IJ, you can stretch your bones and vocal chords between films (especially if you’ve been seeing all of the weekend’s features) at a yoga-meets-sound experiment at Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ—we think it would be the perfect activity for after a movie (22 h)…or before! Resonance Night also begins a session at 7 am on Sunday. Perfect for early birds. Stretch your legs, have your breakfast, and find a seat for Paths of the Soul.
The experiment is by Merlin Twaalfhoven, one of the most exciting composers of today. He creates spaces and shapes a spontaneous interaction with amateurs, the public and each other in a compact number of agreements. With only the human voice Twaalfhoven is looking through this direct interaction and wordless communication as a playful and spontaneous order and beauty.
