Mindfulness has entered the business world. With surprising results: the new science of the mind creates a new perspective for leadership to tackle the many challenges in the modern (business) world. In the current economic model, in which we burn up our people, our resources and our climate, we have lost connection with nature and meaning. How can we transform this and create well-being for people and planet?
Neuro-science has confirmed that mind-training practices of ancient contemplative traditions hold the key for business to create a sustainable future. By training and developing the mind in a radically new (yet tested) way, the next generation of leaders in business and society can leapfrog to a new form of business: human-scale, purpose-based and social value generating. With this new mind-practice, we can avert social and ecological disasters.

The film ‘From Business to Being’ will be premiered during a special event organised by Mind and Life Europe. The highly acclaimed documentary provides a fascinating picture on how mind-training practices, such as mindfulness, have entered the business world.
